Mr. Jong is a registered patent attorney with expertise in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry and biochemistry.

 

Since Mr. Jong joined MUHANN, he has been responsible for preparing and prosecuting patent applications related to semiconductors, display materials, secondary batteries and catalysts. He has also prepared opinions regarding possible infringements as well as validity of patents.

 

Mr. Jong served as a researcher for “SAMYANG” for several years. During that time, he developed ion-exchange resins and fine-chemical materials. He also participated as a member of a technology-strategy team (CTO) that focused on identifying, developing and implementing future business opportunities for SAMYANG.

 

Mr. Jong received a Bachelor and Master of Science in Chemistry with honors from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). As a student, his research themes included ‘Synthesis and application of inorganic nanomaterials’. He researched synthesis/analysis of nano-porous materials, and their applications in such as catalysis and electrochemistry.
