Young-Gun SONG



Mr. Song is a registered patent attorney with expertise in electronic engineering.

Prior to joining MUHANN, Mr. Song worked for Kim & Chang as the managing attorney responsible for prosecutions on behalf of SONY and SHARP, Inc. He was also involved in a wide variety of patent infringement lawsuits and patent licensing negotiations on behalf of SONY, Toshiba, and other large companies. He also practiced a lot of patent trial cases including oppositions to grant of patent.

During his military service, he was a specialized repairer of military FM transceivers, such as P-77, P-85, and PRC-999K (Frequency hopping based). He also has received International Certifications on computer network, such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associates) and MCP (Microsoft Certified Professionals).

Mr. Song received his bachelors of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering with Honors from Yonsei University. During college, Mr. Song focused his studies on optical communication (including optical devices), semiconductor manufacturing processes, computer networking, Non-linear circuit analysis, and digital/analog communications. He also has a background in MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical System) and Bioinformatics.
